Today's Prayer | Nov 3, 2020

Today we come to say thank you. Thank you for who you were, are, and always will be. Thank you now more than ever for your consistency in a world and time where uncertainty has become expected. Thank you Lord, for your grace, your compassion, and your provision. Thank you God for being sovereign. So sovereign father, Master of heaven and earth, my eternal King, I’m asking for this nations daily bread. Grant us a double portion of wisdom today. Detox our spirits from our trauma and soothe our withdrawals with your presence. We invite you in to the soul of our nation. Turn apathy into healthy action and turn the spirit of condemnation into the spirit of contemplation. God, remove all spirits of set back, delay, anti-progress, familiarity, scarcity, and fear. In you we are called to live life freely and have life more abundantly. Let your people rise up and walk this life by example. Let those who know you have an overflow of you so they can pour into those around them. Be our comforter, Jesus. Our prince of peace. Way maker. Provider. And healer. Today father God, let your will be done. I praise you in advance for the work you’ve already begun. For your word says that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Thank you for your promises and honoring your word. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for this life. And as stressful as we may be right now, thank you for this nation. Lastly father God, whatever the outcome, I pray for an inner peace on all sides, and that faith is not lost or weaponized. Let tonight give birth to a new hope. New light. New possibility and new dreams. Let tonight remind us of our strength and if nothing else, Jesus, remind us of who you are and your sovereignty. “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight. Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer.” In Jesus’ name I pray. I love you, Lord. Amen. 🙏🏾
