BEYOND THE DANCE (nyc)
An intimate group of 15 artists coming together for specialized training.*
$400 /4 weeks (Ages 18+ )
We’ll meet for 2.5 hours, twice a week, for 4 weeks.* Understanding dance is much more than movement, we will balance the importance of movement quality with the importance of integrity. We’ll harness the individual voice and asses how to channel it through artistry. We’ll build confidence, strength, and freedom from within, and learn to execute and internalize musicality, intention, dynamics, quality of shape, and much more. Let’s twirl!
small group sessions
*4 weeks start March 8th, 2021
*Negative Covid Test results due each week before the first session.
In Person Only
$150 / 1 hr 15min (Ages 14yrs+)
$125 / 1hr (Ages 12-13 )
$100 / 45min ( Ages 10-13)
SOLO DEVELOPMENT
We’ll walk through your already choreographed solo to strengthen your understanding of the work, deepen your connection to the piece, and give you tools for execution and efficiency.

( 20min consult, 1hr of movement, 10min wrap up)
PRIVATE LESSON
Consult:
What would you like to work on? What are your strengths & weakness? What are 3 corrections you get repeatedly? How you want to grow in your dancing?
Movement:
We'll do exercises and/or choreography based on information from consult.
Wrap Up:
What did you learn and how will you intentionally apply it?
